Sustainable Refurbishment

At ecodomus arquitectos, one of our main projects and aims is sustainable Refurbishment based on improvements in architectural as well as living quality of buildings, decreasing energy consumption and pollution while increasing comfort. To implement this, ecodomus arquitectos targets its efforts in three main aspects of rehabilitation:

  • Structural: to guarantee security in building structure.
  • Functional: to obtain required needs of distribution, water, electricity, gas, ventilation and natural light.
  • Saving energy/power consumption: incorporating thermal and acoustic insulation while keeping in line with current regulations on matters such as water, gas, electricity, fire protection, or elimination of architectural barriers.

In ecodomus arquitectos, we also advise on available public subsidies which may apply in case of proceeding with sustainable rehabilitation.
